A poor mother works as a maid in a high-class family’s house. Her daughter falls in love with the family’s son, but his family does not allow him to marry her. The girl hides her poor origins and leaves her home and becomes devious. The rich young man searches for her. But when he finds her he is shocked at what she has done with her life and leaves her behind.
