NEW CENTURY COLLECTS THREE AWARDS AT THE EGYPTIAN NATIONAL FILM FESTIVAL

The Egyptian National Film Festival announced that Ot W Far, produced by New Century (Dollar Film), won three awards at the 20th edition of the festival.
Ot W Far reaped three awards, namely: Best Director (Tamer Mohsen), Best Scriptwriter (Wahid Hamed) and Best Actor in a Supporting Role (Mohamed Farrag).
Released in Egyptian theaters on January 21, Ot W Far tells the story of a poor young man (Hamada El Far), who finds himself in a conflict against the Interior Minister as he tries to retrieve his mother's corpse, who died at her cousin’s house, who also happens to be the Interior Minister. The two go through a whirlwind of events while each believes that he is the one entitled to establish her funeral.
